Why should we worship?

‘Lord Ganpati an Indian deity’

Today we live in a modern world where is no place for blind faith. We all have access to the internet and google is our kickass companion. We talk based on facts and most of us think why should work hard for getting information when we have google. Knowing something is like butter and bread nowadays. Getting information is way easier now so we want everything instant and gradually forget about the laws of nature. We are relying on technology so much that we forget our true nature.

We want instant results if something does not work quickly we refuse to use it further and seek something else to work for us. We are miles away from faith and patience and unless we don’t have unshakable faith our beliefs would be hollow and nothing is worse Living with hollow beliefs. So question arise how can we make our beliefs strong?

In a one aspect worshipping could be the answer definitely. it can transform your life in such a way that you would think you were born again. But you have to perform certain activities for a certain period to see the magical change.

What happens when we worship and how it could be life-changing for us?

Some people will say it is not significant, how can worship be more powerful than taking an action. But I want to ask one thing that who’s beliefs are stronger? The one who believes what he sees or the one who believes unseen. I think it’s very brave to believe in what can’t be seen.

When we worship we bow down to the highest power through which the universe of ours is controlled. Don’t you think there is something above that balances the whole creation?

our earth is like a balloon that is hanging in this never-ending universe and spinning like a top, do you find any logic to it? So why do we see everything and everybody with the eyes wearing the goggle of logic?

If you Want to see the magic? Then put off the goggles of logic. Creation is itself magic, not logic, we just need enough devotion and faith to see the unseen.

Every time you worship you ask questions to yourself and get answers from yourself, what you actually do that just takes help from your inner reservoir ( GOD ). In the same context, most of our Indian scriptures emphasize exploring our inner self to reach the highest source of human beings. And that is why we should worship.

Lord Buddha got enlightenment with the help of his inner reservoir.

When we worship or pray or perform rituals by our heart and soul, a different kind of serenity comes into our life which brings a positive change in our lives and that is certain, I am not saying that with the basis of facts I am saying that with the basis of the voice which comes from the depth of my heart and I always listen to it.

Heartfelt prayers give us a positive mindset and with it, we can keep ourself energetic and enthusiastic in any situation. we can do anything we want but as I told you before we have to keep faith and patience.

There are some relevent reasons why We should worship or pray;

  • It gives us internal strength.
  • It makes our beliefs solid.
  • It makes our life more systematic.
  • It makes ourselves believer.
  • It adds sincerity and grace to our character.
  • It makes us optimistic.
  • It brings peacefulness and calmness to our life.
  • It makes us mature and sympathetic.
  • It takes us near to our culture and religion. etc

Hope I conveyed what I wanted to. I also believe that my post will prove beneficial to all my readers. Thank you for reading my blogs.

How to build a habit?

Remember the days when we were kids whatever for we insisted, we used to have it at any cost.

But as we grow older the habit of stubbornness gradually gone vanished.

We just need to have this stubbornness back in our life.

We need to assume ourself a warrior who is fighting with his own demo

Stubbornness of being super hygienic can turn you into a shining human being.

The stubbornness of the greater good can turn you into a super human with infinite possibilities.

The stubbornness of being on purpose can turn you into a man who respects time. And don’t forget that time is more precious than any other commodity in this universe.

The stubbornness of being stuck with your realistic dream can turn you into a man who has a purpose, and nothing is bigger than a true purpose of life.

So be stubborn for your greatest good, be stubborn for build good habits as you built bad ones.

If we are facing difficulty leaving our bad habits No problem but can’t we build a good habit? We should think, you give some days of your long life, in return, you’ll get a huge profit.

We should have the stubbornness or mentality of never giving up.

You can see people building the tendency of ignorance, avoidance, and egoism. We think or speak more and do less.

Building a habit is not an easy thing, there is too much patience, consistency behind every good habit. You will have to sacrifice your vows to be better than who you used to be.

We did talk about the morals and mindset about building a habit now let’s talk practically about it .

What should be our initiatives to building a new habit?

First of all we have to understand the nature of good habit and bad habit, and have to differentiate them.

Bad habit gives an instant satisfaction but good habits take time to build in, we have to understand that we can’t take shortcuts. we have to keep patience Here are some basic and modern rules to which will support your mindset in order to build a new habit.

Make a list of your overall activities you perform throughout the day. Let’s say you perform 10 activity in 24 hours ( sleeping 6-7 hrs, eating ( lunch and dinner 1 hrs ),yoga ( 1 hrs), teaching 5 hrs, excretion 1 hrs, wandering 2 hours, writing post 2 hours, learning chess for an hour, watching Netflix for 2 hours, reading vedas and about spirituality for 2 hrs.

Now divide your activities into two parts, 1st part is said to be Good investment and the other one will be called bad investment. Names are so because whether we perform any activity we invest our time, coz nothing is precious than time. You can’t get back time.

Plan your perfect day and try to stick with your schedule.

Perform 21 days rule: in this rule we will have to perform our new habit consistently for 21 days.

Find your spark that works as fuel for building a habit. Decide on your own what makes you energetic or enthusiastic especially when you are under pressure. E.g it could be your favorite music track, it could be your sports or like that but please Don’t choose your spark on the basis of short-term pleasures for the sake of peace, take the path where you could get real joy and happiness.

When we are about to building a new good habit, the most common hurdle in our way that we do not show consistency, or we want to do it perfect in first try. But we always forget that perfection comes with consistent practice. and here I want to say that you have to put you goal at top of all. We have to perform the activity at any how for one month. You can say 30 days of hell to get your paradise.

Decrease your waking time gradually If you are not an early riser otherwise it will be going to hard for us to make a good habit a part of our life, although it is not impossible if we are disciplined and determined.

It is very important to back yourself or your decisions especially when you are not matching you goal. Never say to yourself that I am weak, don’t curse yourself, don’t lose hope from yourself, don’t let yourself break. Mens of God never say I can’t do it even if they failed thousands of time.

Now we just have to look that where are we wasting our time. we have to eliminate our bad investments one by one and replace them with our new, good ones.

We must need to break our own comfort zone again and again so that we could use our mechanism with maximum efficiency.

Track yourself # organize your day # act according to plan and forget the rest on the lord, nothing you can do more than that.

If you like my post than show some gratitude with like and comments, because I want to make relevant posts for the readers so they say that the post has proved a game changer.

The Word Gratitude is taken from the Latin word Gratia, which means grace, graciousness, or gratefulness (depending on the context).

Thank you, God, for everything I have .

The experience of gratitude has historically been a focus of several world religions. It has also been a topic of interest to ancient, medieval, and modern philosophers.

Love what you have.

Gratitude is the thing toward most people don’t pay much attention but if we see things consciously we’ll find it is the easiest and one of the best things we can do.

when someone says, thank you so much for helping me, you are such a kind one, How do you feel ?

I think it would be awesome 👍 feeling like you are at the top of the world even it comes from someone you don’t know.

Power of gratitude

Show some gratitude towards every aspect of your life even in your odds and you will see you are building a hidden strength which will add solidarity and kindness in your character, by the way people think kindness is just a moral thing which is useless but

Just follow the saying for 30 days and believe me the results will be astonishing. but it should come from your heart and soul.

Gratitude strengthens relationships

Whenever you pay gratitude to someone, you make them feel special. Gratitude makes a strong bond between people.

Invest in relationships to get solid returns over a lifetime.

The ultimate purpose of gratitude

Gratitude is a thanksgiving for whatever we receives from someone or vice-versa whether materially or abstractly. With gratitude, people remember the goodness in their lives. … Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, taste good experiences, improve their emotional health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. Try to say these,

  • Thank you for being a part of my life.
  • Thank you for helping me.
  • Thank you, God, for giving me whatever I have.
  • Thank you so much for understanding me.
  • Thank you so much for inviting me in your good times.
  • Thank you for this delightful dinner, you made my day.

And etc.

Let’s see what great souls say about gratitude

“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.” – Buddha

“You cannot do a kindness too soon because you never know how soon it will be too late.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.” John F. Kennedy.

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” Oprah Winfrey

Replace attachment from involvement

When we do things with involvement rather than being attached, we take decisions fearlessly and when we take charge with fearlessness and pure involvement, things get done effortlessly.

Involve and evolve

Attachment v involvement

Attachment towards anything gives us fear, anxiety, and stress because when we are in the attachment of something, someone,  somewhere, or somehow. we focus more on the result and think about things too much with fewer efforts like what will happen if I fail or what will I do if things will not be in my favor.

Through the Bhagwat Geeta (one of the ancient scripture of the world), Lord Krishna says, that We should never be attached to anyone or anything except God because such attachment leads to suffering. … Bhagavad Gita concludes that we should always do our duties without attachment because attachment is the root cause of suffering.

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

But on the other side, when we involve in something whether, in our personal or our professional life things go in a flow and you will see that you did more and thought less, what I am trying to say is that when we do things with pure involvement like we don’t focus on results whatever it will be and give our 100 percent, we get a perfect result because of perfect execution.

Always take the high road, it’s far less crowded.

In Buddhism, Lord buddha says that attachment to anything leads you to pain and suffering . So when we laugh, it’s our way of saying, ‘I’m unattached to that.’ You’re tickled by it, it makes your lobes do something on their own. So humor is very important to me. I always take that to the stage first.

Writer’s corner

Attachment is a very strong feeling and all humans have that feeling in some manner or somewhere.

I am also attached to many things or human beings but I have been trying to overcome it because I have seen the worse side of it and it will prove as your weakness at the end of every scenario.

If you actually want to grow as a human being or want to know how you are and what is the ultimate purpose of your life than you have to overcome your attachments.

Summary of the post

We have to quit attachment towards people and things if we want the following desires below,

  • Want to elevate as a human being.
  • Want to live peacefully.
  • Want to know your true self.
  • Want to feel ecstasy.
  • Want crystal clear decision making.

Why stress is one of the biggest enemy of ours and how yoga helps to overcome it?

First of all, I Want to put some stat over stress.

According to The Indian Express, 78 percent of people suffering from stress and 88 percent from anxiety.

On the behalf of Times of India, 82% of Indians are stressed out today. The increasing stress levels even made India earn the title of being the most depressed country in the world, some years back.

Stress is a considerable problem in the U.S., the remaining world can’t be said immune to its lethal effects. It is now a global problem with;

  • 91 percent of Australians feeling stressed about one or more important parts of their life
  • About 450,000 workers in Britain believing their stress was making them ill
  • 86 percent of Chinese workers reporting stress.

The number of Indians reeling under stress is far more profound than any of the Western countries. Be it work pressure, struggles of life, relationships, financial stress or a mental overload, more and more people are suffering from pangs of stress, depression, anxiety and related ailments. What’s more shocking is that stress is also one of the prime reasons for increased precedence of young-age cardiac arrests, blood pressure flare up and increased risk of chronic diseases.

Stress affects the entire body and is linked to many critical problems, like:

Long-term stress is often a contributing factor in many of the leading causes of death in the United States, including heart disease, cancer, lung disease, accidents, cirrhosis of the liver and suicide.

  • Heart disease
  • High blood pressure
  • Diabetes
  • Depression
  • Anxiety

When stress is high and a person is desperate to relax, they may turn to alcohol and other drugs. Paradoxically, drugs and alcohol often increase stress in the long run, especially if an individual develops addiction or dependence.

How does yoga help to fight against stress?

Yoga eases symptoms of anxiety and stress through direct benefits to both the body and mind. On a physical level, yoga helps induce a relaxation response and reduce heart rate; on a psychological level, mindfulness promotes a focus on the present moment, guiding thoughts away from anxiety or worry about future events.

Pranayama (breathing techniques/exercise) and meditation are also part of yoga. Let’s see what world says about yoga;

According to artical of http://www.health line.com One study demonstrated the powerful effect of yoga on stress by following 24 women who perceived themselves as emotionally distressed. After a three-month yoga program, the women had significantly lower levels of cortisol. They also had lower levels of stress, anxiety, fatigue and depression.

Timesnownews.com says, Yoga and meditation, for ages, have been thought of being the mediators of relieving stress and calming one’s own body, mind, and soul.

As highlighted in WHO’s recently released Global Action Plan on Physical Activity 2018-2030, the routine practice of yoga – a 5000-year-old tradition – is a valuable tool for people of all ages to make physical activity an integral part of life and reach the level needed to promote good health. For children aged 5-17, that means at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous-intensity activity daily. Adults require at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity weekly.

Nobody can deny the effectiveness of yoga especially nowadays, It is the most efficient way of living and loving life.

Writer’s corner

The contradiction of perception between me and my loving ones ,Unpaid bills, a bunch of miss calls, sleepless nights, fellow headache, and lack of self-confidence, etc are the common things against I fight on the daily basis but I never give up, in fact sometimes I feel, I’m working like a machine,  I able to handle this all without being frustrated because I never forget to practice yoga ( pranayama, meditation, and yogasanas)

All I want to say that yoga works inside out, it soothes your soul and makes you unshakable, In today’s time we need to strengthen our soul because yogic culture believes that body is just a cover of our soul, if you want the absolute truth you have to know about your soul and that’s the purpose of yoga.

What are ‘Chakras’?(चक्र’ क्या हैं?)

The word chakra means wheel, which refers to the energy centers in our body. These wheels of spinning energy are each related to certain nerves and major organs.

To function at their best, your chakras need to stay open, or balanced. If they get blocked, you may experience physical or emotional imbalance.

The Chakras are part of secret medieval-era beliefs about human mechanism and mental centers that came out across Indian traditions.According to the belief human life simultaneously exists in two parallel forces, (1).physical body (sthula sarira) and (2). psychological (sukshma sarira). This subtle body is energy, while the physical body is mass. The psyche or mind plane corresponds to and interacts with the body plane, and the belief holds that the body and the mind mutually affect each other. The subtle body consists of nadi (energy channels) connected by nodes of psychic energy called chakra. The belief grew into extensive elaboration, with some suggesting 88,000 chakras throughout the subtle body. The number of major chakras varied between various traditions, but they typically ranged between four and seven. Buddhist teachings mention eight chakras and there is a complete yogic system for each of them.

The important chakras are stated in Hindu and Buddhist texts to be arranged in a column along the spinal cord, from its base to the top of the head, connected by vertical channels. The tantric traditions sought to master them, awaken and energize them through various breathing exercises or with assistance of a teacher. These chakras represents specific human physiological capacity, seed syllables (bija), sounds, subtle elements (tanmatra), in some cases deities, colors, and other motifs.

According to Buddhism and hinduism It is useful in a type of yogic rituals and meditative discovery of radiant inner energy (prana flows) and mind-body connections.

The Chakras are traditionally considered meditation tool. The yogi progresses from lower chakras to the highest chakra blossoming in the crown of the head, internalizing the journey of spiritual ascent.

How to activate chakras?(चक्रों को कैसे सक्रिय करें?)

In both the Hindu kundalini and Buddhist candali traditions, the chakras are activated through kundalini ( a form of divine feminine energy believed to be located at the lowest chakra or the base of the spine).

To activate kundalini, we must learn about yoga in an extensive manner. To the awakening of kundalini, We have to practice mantras, yoga asanas, meditation, and mudras with consistency. In short, we have to convert ourselves into a yogi.

Surya Namaskar is a way to live a healthy life full of energy and enthusiasm.

It has proven that yoga has an extraordinary effect on human mechanics. Surya namaskar is a cover page if yoga is a book.

Moreover it is my personal experience that yoga has cured my stubborn stomach and skin problems. It also helped me a lot for recovering from covid 19 back than 4 months.I had recovered in just 7 days because I was doing surya namaskar and pranayama along with meditation.

9 sets of Surya namaskar will be ideal because each set consists of 12 asanas and 12 × 9 = 108 which are the number of sacred points in our body.

Remembering Swami Vivekanand

Swami Vivekanand is the first yogi who gave a speech on yoga in the united nation. let’s recall his thoughts and give him a small tribute.

He lived just 35 years but the range of his thought process is very difficult to measure. He was devoted to his principles, a true personality with an unshakable belief. He served his guru Shri ram Krishna Paramhansa very well, He always emphasized the importance of self-belief.

Influence of swami vivekanand on my life

His ideology inspires me every single day, he used to say, there is a very thin line between religious beliefs and superstition so every being has to be educated enough to understand it. The more to read about him the more you would like to go after his philosophy. In order to understand the importance of self-belief he said, an uneducated and atheist is much better than a low confident being. He used to say, get up and live like lion because a goat is made for sacrifice.

His thoughts on meditation, strong character and fearlessness.

He has been a path decider for years because of his strong words. His words increase the self-confidence of every yogi whether from the past or modern-day.
