Bhakti yoga ( भक्ति योग )

The Sanskrit word bhakti (devotion) is derived from the root word bhaj, which means take the name of god or believe a higher power in every aspect of your life whether worst or best, through songs, chanting mantas, and prayers.

A Hindu spiritual leader Chinmayananda Saraswati said Knowledge is nothing without devotion.

And the word yoga means union of one’s soul (true self) with the concept of Supreme almighty (absolute Reality). In this context bhakti-yoga means a path or practice for salvation or liberation from pain, ego, envy, defeat, untrust and illusion.
